MOTHER
circle

an 8 week virtual container
to deepen your relationship with your

Motherhood Arc

Motherhood is sentient, Motherhood is a summoning inward.

From the moment of conception, either physically or through awareness of a child entering your life, you are locked in -- to a never ending personal growth explosion.

In our current culture, where postpartum is synonymous with depression

and motherhood is synonymous with overwhelm,

we are super hyper focused on breaking and rebuilding generational patterns (rightfully so!) and filling our brains with knowledge, we are losing sight of the more mysterious, holistic aspects to our motherhood. Of our age-old ability to experience motherhood as alchemical and fertile ground for both being and becoming.

MotherCircle invites us to focus on our stories,

gathering together, and letting our voices be heard.

Our stories both feed and soothe our Spirit. We need Spirit, or we die.

We become Mother like machines, just trying to be good enough.

MotherCircle is a call for a robust, co-created culture built through shared storytelling, witnessing, and profound intention.

MotherCircle is for...

  • Pregnant Mothers

  • Mothers with children of all ages

  • Women considering becoming mothers

  • Mothers who hunger to share their experiences & connect with others

  • Mothers feeling burned out & in need to remember the power Motherhood offers us

  • Women who care for mothers. (Childbirth educators, Birthworkers, Midwives, birth and postpartum doulas, OBGYNs, Lactation consultants, L&D nurses, Prenatal and postpartum yoga teachers and Somatic therapists)

  • Bereaved Mothers

Class Syllabus

MotherDive

We will experience and explore Motherhood as a rite of passage; celebrating, orienting, and grieving your story.

MotherCycle

Practicing Motherhood as a cyclical act connects us to a rhythm of life greater than our day to day life.

MotherBody

Feeling into the body and dedicating ourselves to our physical needs acts as a catalyst to true wellness and personal health.

MotherJaguar

We will explore healthy aggression and our tolerance to assert our will, voice, and healthy authority.

MotherBirth

Our births and our associations with birth echo in our lived experience for years...decades. Share your story in a meaningful way that honors your joy, pain, and lessons given.

MotherLover

What if our sexuality was foundational to our aliveness as mothers? Motherhood often radically changes our sexual self and desire. Explore where you land and live with both sexuality and sensuality.

MotherWorth

Has Motherhood shifted your relationship with you work in the world? Perhaps eliminated it temporarily, or required you to find the "balance" of work family. How do we honor our innate worth apart from our work outside of Motherhood?

MotherCode

Plant your legacy's seeds by clearly defining your personal values.

Kimberly Ann Johnson, Creator of MotherCircle:

"Mothering is demanding, revelatory, complex and redemptive.

We think we are mothering our children; often we are re-mothering ourselves. Our children reflect our nervous systems, and we’re not sure where we end and they begin.

We are living at a time of renegotiation and re-labeling. New archetypes are emerging.

What is required of us as women and what we require of ourselves is totally NEW.

Women are finally getting honest about motherhood. There’s space in the culture for this formerly invisible experience. Our safety no longer depends on our perfection and our role-play.

At this time, we can define and redefine motherhood on our own terms…and that comes with its own challenges."
